Bid4Bury is again working with other business partners in participating in the Business Festival that runs from 11th – 21st September. There are many events that we are encouraging our members to attend such as the Business Womens Networking lunch on 19th September at the apex and further details of all the events during the Festival are listed within the business festival website at www.businessfestival.org
 
During the Festival Bid4Bury is hosting a Question Time event at the apex on the evening of Thursday 13th September from 8pm but audience members are welcome to attend from 7.15pm for pre event drinks in the bar.
 
The panel will comprise of David Ruffley MP, Mark Bee, Leader of the County Council, John Griffiths Leader of St Edmundsbury Borough Council, Jane Basham the Labour Party candidate for the Police and Crime Commissioners election in November  and Andrew Speed, local businessman and chair of Bid4Bury.
 
The evening will be chaired by Rachel Sloane who is an award-winning broadcaster and writer and experienced conference facilitator, she regular presents shows on Radio Suffolk and is a Fellow of Suffolk New College, and is on the committee of the Ipswich and Suffolk Small Business Association.
 
The event is open to the public and there is no admission cost but if you want to attend can you let us know so we can manage seating arrangements please.
 
If anyone wants to they can submit a question prior to the event and if it is chosen it will be read out on the night. None of the questions will be disclosed to the panel prior to the event
