Get ready for the Bury St Edmunds Christmas Lights Event, taking place on Thursday 19th November 2026, 3-8pm in the town centre!

The magical transformation will begin when the sun sets, and a variety of charity, craft, and gift stalls will line Cornhill and the Buttermarket, adding to the festive magic.

Yes, our Bury St Edmunds Christmas Lights Event is a FREE-admission event. Tickets are not required and there is no ticketing system in place, so please be careful and ignore anyone trying to sell you tickets on social media.

How do I get to the Christmas Lights Event?

If you do not live within walking distance of the Bury St Edmunds town centre, there are plenty of car parks and access to public transport.

Long-stay car parks such as, Parkway multi-storey, Ram Meadow, St. Andrews Long Stay, and Olding Road are all available.
