Bury St Edmunds is England’s foremost market town, steeped in history and based around a grid pattern formulated by Abbot Baldwin in around 1080. We have a beautiful historic core with numerous eye catching period streets all blessed with architectural history and laden with an array of shops, visitor attractions, open spaces and wonderful gardens that makes us unique, and attracts visitors worldwide.

In addition, we have a 21st century retail and leisure development, the arc; a prestigious development of 35 retail and food units, and a public venue, The Apex adding to the overall unique offer within our town centre.
