Tis the season to treat yourself properly. This is one for anyone who loves great bottles. From curious collectors to keen drinkers who just fancy a proper treat before Christmas. It’s December, after all. Time to open the good stuff.
Tonight, we’re raiding the fine wine rack and pulling corks on the serious stuff. The bottles you always promise to “save for best”… and then never quite get round to. We’ll be tasting the wines you should be drinking on Christmas Day but probably shouldn’t waste sharing with others who can’t tell the difference between a Barefoot and a Barolo. These are bottles that deserve a quiet room, good company and a bit of reverence.
Hosted by Ev of team VG, you’ll spend the evening tasting your way through a line-up of serious wines, learning a little along the way about how to buy, when to drink, and how to get the best out of them at home.
Expect great wine, good company, and plenty of festive cheer.
