Set up four years ago, this fantastic farmers’ market continues to go from strength to strength, showcasing a truly wonderful selection of local food and drink producers.

The farmers’ market is held on the second Sunday of every month on The Traverse in the centre of Bury St Edmunds where you will find a fabulous line up of the region’s very best local producers, delighting shoppers with freshly baked local bread, regional honey, homemade pies and savouries, delicious cakes and fudge, Suffolk pork and lamb, fresh fruit and vegetables, vegan snacks, fresh and smoked fish and seafood, sauces and chutneys, craft ales, locally distilled gins and vodkas, local eggs and lots more plus we always have a small number of Street Food stalls and a handful of beautiful, hand made craft stalls including stunning, locally made candles and homemade goat’s milk soaps.

Everything that is sold at the market will be produced by the person who is selling and all has been produced locally.

Parking in town is free until 1pm on Sunday mornings. Dogs are very welcome at the market.

HELD ON THE SECOND SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH. 10am – 3pm. Except April when the market will take place on Sunday April 16 (because of the Coronation).
