Looking for free family activities in Bury St Edmunds this Summer? arc Presents the Greatest Summer Show! Step right up as the circus comes to arc Shopping Centre for three days of spectacular entertainment from the 18th – 20th August 2026.
Head on down to Charter Square for an unforgettable celebration packed with live performances, interactive workshops and family fun. Whether you’re learning new circus skills or watching incredible magic, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
What’s Happening?
Tuesday 18th August: Kick start the celebrations by trying your hand at Circus Skills with an engaging workshop at 11am, 12:30pm, 2pm and 3pm. Get into the circus spirit with a fun face paint and delicious candy floss to complete the experience.
Wednesday 19th August: Prepare to be amazed by our spectacular Magic Shows at 12pm and 2pm. Enjoy a mesmerising Giant Bubble Show at 11am, 12:45pm and 2:30pm! Enjoy having your face painted and don’t forget to snap a photo with the roaming strong man and share it on social media!
Thursday 20th August: The fun continues with more Circus Skills workshops at 11am, 12:30pm, 2pm and 3pm! You’ll also be able to enjoy having your face painted while watching some incredible Aerial Hoop Performers, Ringmaster Stilt Walkers and a Juggler as they bring the circus to life at arc Shopping Centre.
