Acclaimed Broadway Show to come to Bury St Edmunds...

The 2015 UK tour of acclaimed musical show ‘Back to Broadway’ is coming to The Apex on Sunday 6 September.

The show, now in its fourth consecutive year, features hit songs from popular West End and Broadway shows, and takes audiences on a thrilling journey from the drama of Les Miserables and Miss Saigon, to the feel-good fun of Hairspray and Mamma Mia.

Performed by a seven-piece troupe made up of some of the best musical theatre performers in the country, Back to Broadway promises to get people on their feet and singing along.

Tour director and performer Gina Price said: “We have been working really hard in the last year to update the show and include all the best loved musicals in one spectacular.

“We include all the favourites from modern songs to the classics. It is a fantastic night out for families with something for all ages including Disney songs and performances from Wicked. It’s also a hit with die-hard musical theatre fans who will appreciate renditions from West Side Story and Phantom of the Opera.

“We combine the traditional variety show with a contemporary twist and we’re often praised for bringing a West End-quality production to some of the smaller theatres in the country.

“Our performers are unbelievable and with original choreography and a stunning New York City backdrop you can see why we’ve been voted the UK’s No.1 musical theatre show. The show features over 200 dazzling costumes as well and our quick changes are something to behold!
