After selling out The Apex on their last visit, The Carpenters Story returns to the venue on Saturday 20 June.

Widely regarded as the first ever tribute show back in its 1989 incarnation, with sold-out shows including the London Palladium, the show received this memorable quote from Richard Carpenter: ‘It was well played, very accurate - I’m flattered!’.

The Carpenters Story takes you on a magical musical journey that spans three decades and brings back memories of pop’s most melodic duo. Phil Aldridge’s lavish arrangements and Claire Furley’s uncanny representation of Karen Carpenter combine in their stunning vocal harmonies.

Featuring all the songs that made The Carpenters a legend in the world of music: They Long to be Close To You, We’ve Only Just Begun, I Won’t Last a Day Without You, Goodbye to Love, Yesterday Once More, Top of the World, Please Mr Postman, Solitaire and lots more.
