Suffolk Festival of Ideas is coming to Casa del Mar...
As part of this year’s inaugural Suffolk Festival of Ideas, Casa del Mar will be adding an exciting event to the festival line up.
On Sunday 24 May, Dr Terese Belton, from the University of East Anglia, will be hosting a workshop based on her recently published book Happier People Healthier Planet: How putting Wellbeing First Would Help sustain life on Earth at Casa del Mar.
She will talk about her study of people living satisfying lives of modest material consumption and will invite the audience to explore through exercises and discussion the intricate, reciprocal relationship between personal well-being and protection of the natural world.
In addition to this event there are a large number of other events to enjoy. For a full line up and for tickets to event that take place from May 18 to May 24, including the launch event featuring George Monbiot, see www.suffolkfestivalofideas.co.uk
