Festive Season At The Library ...

This festive season the library has plenty of books with ideas for making unique Christmas gifts, baking delicious dinners and creating gorgeous handmade decorations. They will also be hosting Happiness Workshops to keep spirits lifted throughout the holidays.


Are you happy…? On 9th December, between 4pm-7:30pm, there will be an Action for Happiness Workshop in the Conference Room. In partnership with Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust, Suffolk Libraries is giving you the opportunity to find out how to be more happy and positive. 


On the 10th December, drop by for Suffolk Family History in the Sound & Vision Library to receive hints and tips to get you started on your family tree. If you're looking for some light and easy reads over your Christmas holidays, check out the library's list for some uplifting, feel-good novels. 


The New Bookstart Bookgroup for pre-school children will begin on 9th January from 10:15-10:45am. A group for parents and toddlers, enjoy reading popular picture books over 5 weeks. 


Top Time Events continue throughout December in the Library Conference Room. The 5th December will be a book group, the 12th December will be the Christmas Party with snacks and drinks, and the 19th December will be an Art and Craft 'Share a Skill' workshop.
