September Sessions at The Library...
As the days grow shorter, the Library are hosting lots of exciting events to ease us into autumn.
The month kicks off with a training session from the St John's Ambulance. A 'Have a go' First Aid event, come along and learn how to do CPR. A valuable skill to acquire, book Thursday 4th September into the diary for a 2 hour class between 10:30am-12:30pm.
Next up on the 10th September, it's Suffolk Family History offering guidance and support to anyone looking to discover a little more about their family's past. Saturday 20th September will be host to two events; the Summer Reading Challenge Presentation Ceremony and The Cats Protection League Display and Information Event. Children who have completed reading six books in the Mythical Maze challenge over the summer will be rewarded with a medal and certificate. If you're interested in having a cat as a pet, or thinking about joining the Cats Protection League, pop in to get involved.
Rounding off the month, Wednesday 24th September will see the Suffolk Health Watch Display and Information Event take place.
Continuing every Friday, the Top Time meetings go ahead as usual with plenty of entertaining activities, and there are always lots of new releases in our books, dvds and music collections!
