Help – I’m a CEO, Get me out of here!!...

All too often the people at the top of the tree can have it easy, they just sit back in their comfy chair while their PA organises their day and schedules meetings in between rounds of golf and business lunches...

This is why for a new fundraising initiative, the team at St Nicholas Hospice plan to take CEO’s outside of their comfort zone and get them to take part in an organised a day of challenges and trials that will turn the stomach and test the nerve. Welcome to the “I’m a CEO, get me out of here” farm challenge day.

On Friday, 17th April, at Bishops Farm in Bradfield St Clare, high profile business executives will be putting themselves through the muck, enduring a series of farm yard trials and taking them out of their comfort zone in an effort to as much money as possible for the St Nicholas Hospice.

Arc Centre Manager, Colin Roberts, will be one of the contestants who has been brave enough to put himself up for the challenge. Colin said: “I’m not sure I really did agree to this but my team appear to have signed me up . . . I guess there’s no getting out of it now!”

For more than 30 years St Nicholas Hospice Care has offered care, comfort and advice to thousands of people throughout West Suffolk and South Norfolk. They are an independent charity providing specialist care for patients with life-threatening illnesses and support for those who care for them.

Colin will be joined by many other top local business men and women who are up for the challenge, he added; “I cannot say enough good things about the team at The St Nicholas Hospice, we have worked with them very successfully in the past and I’m sure this is going to another great event. There will be some top executives enduring pain and mild embarrassment for a very worthy cause, so please do donate.”
