Dance Against Violence...

ONE BILLION RISING

Friday 14th February is V-Day

A billion women all over the world, and those who love them, will rise and dance against violence on this day. Why?

One in three women on the planet will be raped or beaten in her lifetime - that is ONE BILLION WOMEN !!!

The Multicultural Women’s Group of Bury St Edmunds would like to put Bury St Edmunds on the map with a simple plan:

we would like you to join us outside the Apex Theatre, Charter Square IP33 3FD, between 12.15 and 1.15 pm for an hour of music and dance to raise awareness of the terrible issue of violence against women.

Come and be part of that one billion!

Wear a red scarf or hat so that we can be noticeable!

Watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJQvJNfn0kc  to learn the dance.
