BLS Students Score at Bury Bowl!


Eighteen international students and two members of staff from BLS English took to the lanes of Bury Bowl last night to get the ball rolling for this summer’s fun.

The students enjoyed a friendly competition, as one of this season’s activities, by dividing into four teams at the 12 lane ten pin bowling centre in Bury St Edmunds, which features traditional wooden lanes and bumpers.

The highest scoring bowlers: Faisal Abdullah, Francesco Dragoni, Abdullah Alhodaib and Denys Motornyi then battled to the finish in a final game of pool.

The overall bowling winner was Faisal Abdullah, a fourteen year old from Saudi Arabia, with an impressive score of 97!

However, Abdullah Alhodaib bowled everyone over with his own amazing ‘feet’: revealing his Size 50 shoes!
