PAW Patrol on a roll for Our Bury St Edmunds Festival...

Kids’ TV’s best loved pups from PAW Patrol are heading to Suffolk this summer for the Our Bury St Edmunds Food & Drink Festival. Over the August Bank Holiday weekend four of the characters from the series and new movie will visit the family entertainment zone at the popular foodie event.

The free-admission festival features celebrity chefs, a farmers’ market, cooking demonstrations from local restaurants and new this year the family entertainment zone in Charter Square at arc shopping centre. Two PAW Patrol characters will be there at intervals across each day, with Chase and Rubble visiting on Sunday August 29 and Skye and Marshall on Bank Holiday Monday.

The annual event is organised by Our Bury St Edmunds which runs the Business Improvement District (BID). Chief Executive Mark Cordell said: “With Chase on the case and Rubble on the double – Sunday is going to be simply PAWsome. On Monday we’ll have high flying Skye and Marshall all fired up waiting for their young fans to come and see them in the family entertainment zone and lots of opportunities to take pictures across both days.

“As ‘PAW Patrol: The Movie’ will be screening during the summer holidays we know our special guests will be very popular. It’s great that the pups have been able to take a break from helping Ryder in Adventure Bay and we’re looking forward to welcoming them to the Our Bury St Edmunds Food & Drink Festival.” Across the two days Charter Square will also host a circus skills workshop, giant games and a helter-skelter among other children’s activities. Cookery demonstrations from celebrity chefs Sean Wilson and Paul Rankin as well as the stars of local restaurant kitchens can be found outside Moyses Hall Museum and dozens of stalls will line Buttermarket and Cornhill with a farmers’ market on Angel Hill.

The Our Bury St Edmunds Food & Drink Festival opens at 10am each day and more information can be found over on their Festivals page.
