Bury St Edmunds Greggs Bakery featured in national newspaper...

Bury St Edmunds Greggs Bakery featured in national newspaper Greggs Bakery in Bury St Edmunds has been featured in a national newspaper after fans of the high-street chain deemed it the “fanciest Greggs in the UK”.

Greggs, the home of fresh baking, is the leading bakery retailer in the UK. Expert bakers for the last 70 years, they serve delicious, freshly baked, quality food at great value prices.

Located in Bury St Edmunds on Abbeygate Street, the exterior of the building features grand wooden arches and is built in a Grade II listed property dating back to the 17th century. It’s unique appearance is down to its beautiful wooden arches and doors.

One person wrote: “I grew up in Bury St Edmunds and Greggs always seemed to be a lovely bakery and a proper treat where my mum would take me. The people who worked there were lovely. It wasn’t until I moved to the Midlands when I learnt it’s reputation is less than classy in the rest of the UK”.
