Competition Time...

The number of new businesses opening in Bury St Edmunds in the last quarter of 2013 town increased from a sporadic drip to much more of a constant trickle with around 20 businesses opening during this time and this trend looks likely to continue into early 2014.

Why do new businesses, both national brands and independents choose to take that big step to open a business in our town? Well none of them do so just for fun! So surely they must feel that there is a good chance that their business will be successful in Bury.

One of the reasons for this might well be the number of people visiting the town, so here’s a quiz question for you, how many people, on foot, do you think came into Bury, during 2013, through the entrance to Abbeygate St via Angel Hill?

The deadline for this competition is 4pm on Friday 17th January and the nearest answer to the actual number will win a £50 voucher to be spent in any ourburystedmunds business.
