Conversations with Curators at Moyse's Hall Museum...
Curators in St Edmundsbury Heritage Service selected objects that fascinated and appealed to them on a personal level. This selection was then presented to Lockarts, an arts in mental health organisation, to re-interpret them in their own inimitable way. Objects include a hairball from the stomach of a bull, a sequinned flapper dress and a magic lantern.
Artworks include ceramics, textiles and sculpture.
To accompany the exhibition there will be a drop in family workshop on Thursday 20 February, 11am-4pm and a chance to meet the artists on 18 & 26 January and 2 & 8 February, 12pm-3.30pm.
Running Sunday 12 January - Sunday 23 February 2020.
