Summer Family Activity Days at the Cathedral...

Free activities are on offer at St Edmundsbury Cathedral, Bury St Edmunds, at the annual Family Activity Days, organised by the Cathedral’s Discovery Centre team. These are held on Wednesdays (29 July, 5, 12 and 19 August) from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. Stories, trails, crafts and quizzes will be themed on ‘Growing and Growth’. Just pop in at any time during the day and join in. Younger children (5-12) must be accompanied but young people up to the age of 15 are also welcome.

‘Each summer we offer these Family Activity Days on a different theme,’ comments Helen Woodroffe, Cathedral Children’s Education Officer. ‘It is great to see children, their parents, grandparents or carers spending time together and having a bit of fun.’

The activity days are free of charge but donations are welcome.
