The Cathedral’s story told in photos and press cuttings...
On Saturday 4 October visitors will have the chance to see the last 20 years of the life of the Cathedral told through a unique collection of press cuttings and photos taken by Pam Pitts, former Cathedral warden, and long-standing member of the Cathedral community.
Pam has taken photos of most events at the Cathedral over the past 2 decades and they are all displayed in albums, which will be laid out in the Cathedral between 10 am and 4 pm.
‘As we mark our centenary this year, it is good to have the chance to look back at this record of events, which includes significant moments in the town’s history such as the completion of the Millennium Tower,’ comments Sarah Friswell, PR Manager.
Do come and browse. The albums of photos will be available to view from 10 am to 4 pm.
