How to entertain the kids......

Summer Children’s Activities at the Cathedral

Keep cool at St Edmundsbury Cathedral, Bury St Edmunds, at one of the annual Family Activity Days.

These are held on Wednesdays (31 July, 7, 14 and 21 August) from 10.00 am. to 4.00 pm.

From paper sculpture to puppetry and ‘pop-ups’, our theme for these popular days is the Elements – Earth, Water, Air, and Fire.

Just pop in at any time during the day and join in a range of activities, quizzes, trails and stories aimed at children aged 5-12. Children must be accompanied.

‘This is a great opportunity for children and their parents, grandparents or carers to spend time together and join in fun activities, exploring the essentials of life,’ comments Helen Woodroffe, Cathedral Children’s Education Officer.

These activity days are free of charge but donations welcome.
