Remembering Together

A service for those who have lost a child or baby
 
‘Remembering Together’ is a special service which will be held at St Edmundsbury Cathedral, Bury St Edmunds on Saturday 21 September at 3.00 pm. The service is open to all who have been affected by such a loss.  A Crèche will be available.

Canon David Crawley, Cathedral Chaplain, who is one of the organisers of the service comments, ‘The death of a child or baby is devastating. We hope that people from across the County will feel able to come and share this time together, surrounded by love and support.’

This is the first time that this service has been held at the Cathedral. Canon Crawley is working alongside health professionals and other clergy in the town in response to an awareness that people often try to deal with these sorts of issues on their own, when in fact there are many ways to gain support and help.
