Bury St Edmunds Christmas Craft and Gift Fair...
Bury St Edmunds Christmas Craft and Gift Fair
Later this month the annual Christmas Craft and Gift Fair, organised by ‘The Marketplace’, will once again take place at the Athenaeum in Bury St Edmunds.
The event, on Sunday November 17, will be the perfect opportunity for shoppers to get presents, cards and wrapping paper ready for the festive season.
Craft lovers will appreciate having the time and space to have a look at the 60 stalls which will make up the fair.
The Craft & Gift Fairs have been running for over ten years and have in that time raised hundreds of pounds for St Nicholas Hospice Care. This year 10 per-cent of everybody’s admission fee will go to the Hospice.
We are proud of the amount of money we have raised for the Hospice over the years. We have always supported them because I know they are a great local charity.”
Doors to the fair will be open from 10am – 4.30pm and a selection of refreshments will be available for shoppers to purchase.
Admission for adults cost 50 pence and entry for children is free.
We also organise craft and gift fairs at The Apex in the run up to Christmas. These smaller craft fairs take place on most Wednesdays and Saturday’s – entry is free. More information about the fairs is available on www.themarketplace.org.uk.
