Greene & Greene fundraise for St Nicholas Hospice...
Mark Daly, from Greene and Greene, is due to be arrested next Friday 7th March 2014 for 'Excessive Espresso Drinking'. He has been told by a colleague that this is in contravention of the Legal Stimulants Act 1998, which limits caffeine ‘users’ to two espresso shots per day.
In total, 12 business people from the Bury St Edmunds area will be cuffed, manhandled and bundled into a Police van by Special Constables. Photographic evidence will be available. We will then be taken to the Police Investigation Centre for interrogation and each prisoner will only be released if they have raised a minimum of £500 in bail money. All proceeds go to St Nicholas Hospice.
Please help Mark get released from custody and support this amazing local charity that provides FREE practical, medical and spiritual support to local people and their families living with life-threatening or terminal illnesses across West Suffolk. Every year they help more than 2,500 people and they need to raise £10,000 a day just to keep the charity operating.
If you are able to sponsor Mark, please visit his Just Giving page at www.justgiving.com/Mark-Daly80. It would be wonderful to have reached or exceeded Mark’s target before next Friday, which should make the whole experience for him far more enjoyable. Gift aid can help top-up your donation and you may be able to claim additional tax relief!
