West Suffolk Hospital is hosting the annual “It’s a knockout” event.

West Suffolk Hospital in partnership with Bury Round Table will be hosting the annual “It’s a knockout” event on 14th July from 12 noon till 4pm on Hardwick Heath.

The event will include 15 local businesses, with teams between 10 and 12 people. The teams will battle each other by taking part in a range of knockout games including Knockout Derby, Farmer Frolics and Dizzy Dinos.

The day is set to be fun-filled for all the family, with not only the competition to watch and cheer on your favorite team but there will also be children’s rides including water walkers, giant slide and bungee trampolines. There will also be a range of stalls including food and drink, soaps and hand made jewellery.

All money raised on the day will go towards purchasing a TRUS Biopsy & Probe which will enable earlier diagnosis of prostate cancer, therefore ensuring that less people die from the disease.

The Bury Free Press has adopted this charitable cause under the “Beat It” banner and is determined to achieve the fund raising target of £55,000 by the end of 2013.

As a business if you are interested in entering a team or want more details on the event please visit www.buryknockout.com for more details.

The organisers of the event are also looking to make the day even more great with loads more attractions and would love a wide range of of products to be sold from stalls. If you would be interested in joining the event then please head to www.buryknockout.com

The Knockout day is set to be an excellent family day out and all for a good cause.
