A treat for all classical lovers

St Edmundsbury Financial Services in Whiting Street are proud to announce they are jointly sponsoring Elgar: Cello Concerto playing with the Suffolk Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Suffolk Philharmonic Orchestra is welcoming Julian Lloyd Webber to play the Elgar Cello Concerto. Julian’s Brit-Award winning recording of this work was chosen by the BBC Music Magazine as being the “finest ever”.

This is a fantastic chance to see one of the leading classical instrumentalists at this Afternoon Tea event.

Leslie Olive from St Edmundsbury Financial Services said: " St Edmundsbury Financial Services in Whiting Street are jointly sponsoring the concert and the owner Andrew Speed is delighted to be able to enable such a high profile classical performer to play at a concert in Bury and link up with the SPO. This concert is great news for the town, the apex and classical music lovers "

The event will be held at The Apex on the 26th May 2013 at 4pm. There will be a 45 minute interval in which audience members will have the opportunity to enjoy cream tea, which can be booked with your concert ticket.

You can also make a day of the event, as Sunday 26th May is also the first day of Bury St Edmunds Whitsun Fayre, with its flower and plant festival, farmers market, children’s farm, food stalls and for the first time in Bury an urban beach.

Tickets start at £12 with concession prices starting at £4. Tickets can be booked through The Apex box office either visit the website www.theapex.co.uk or call 01284 758000.
