3SQ Venture To Kenya...
Following her fundraising and planning throughout December, Sarah Lock, founder of 3SQ Employee Benefits, has now completed her adventure in Kenya. Sarah has been working with The Doxa Project, which enables disadvantaged communities to become self-sufficient. Sarah raised over £1500 before she left, and part of this money was used to purchase shoes for children in the local orphanage.
The second phase for Sarah includes a return trip later this year to help with the local school, which 140 children attend. The school has been given notice to vacate their existing premises by August of this year. A plot of land has been purchased on which to build a new school but funds have yet to be raised to do this. To secure the future education for these children, the charity need to raise the funds to build a temporary school on the new site.
3SQ Employee Benefits would like to thank clients and partners who attended their Christmas event for donating so generously to this excellent cause.
