Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our team as our Restaurant Supervisor. The role will involve working in the restaurant as part of a small team, overseeing the activities of restaurant staff to deliver outstanding service to our customers that accompanies the unique and award-winning food offering.

Responsibilities

– Work alongside the Restaurant Manager to supervise restaurant activities whilst on shift.

– Achieve exceptional customer service to ensure customers have a pleasant experience by monitoring and checking staff and diners.

– Monitor compliance with food safety regulations and ensure records are up to date.

– Support the Restaurant Manager with ordering stock and maintaining suitable levels.

– Work with suppliers to maintain and grow our wine list offering, sharing key information with the team which can be delivered to customers.

– Research and introduce new cocktails to the menu which rotate regularly, training staff on how to execute these to high standards.

– Supervise restaurant staff when on shift to ensure high standards of service and communication are monitored and maintained.

– Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, using email and telephone communication.

– Monitor financial performance and implement cost control measures, attending meetings to discuss this as a team.

Skills and experience (essential)

– Excellent customer service

– Ability and desire to lead a team in the workplace setting

– Knowledge and experience of bartending, culinary, and kitchen operations

– Familiarity with food safety regulations

– Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Skills and experience (desirable)

– Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting

– Qualifications relating to the Hospitality Industry

– Grade 4/C in English and Maths (or equivalent)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £17,087.00-£21,655.00 per year

Expected hours: 31 per week
