Theatre RoyalAs General Manager you will be responsible for creating a great team, overseeing the recruitment and welfare of our staff and volunteer team, supported by the Programming & Administration Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing and developing an historic building to ensure that the facilities and operations support the needs of a thriving producing theatre and its communities. You will be responsible for the efficient running of the operational, administrative, IT, HR, legal and compliance functions of this extraordinary theatre.
Reporting to the CEO/Artistic Director you will manage the Front-of-House, Bar and Facilities Managers to ensure the highest standards are met, day and night. Your systems and operational skills will ensure that the finance and IT processes are streamlined to provide an efficient and cost-effective workflow.
