Exploring Bury St Edmunds doesn’t just have to be during the warmer months of the year. Bury St Edmunds is at the heart of great places to visit in East Anglia. We’ve got the fantastic Abbey Gardens which is a delight to stroll around on a sunny winter morning. There’s some great museums and galleries to explore if the cold weather gets a little too much too. They include Elsey’s Gallery, Smiths Row and Moyse’s Hall Museum, which is currently showcasing a major Lego brick exhibition called ‘Brick City.’

The Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds has been a part of the East Anglian entertainment and performance scene since 1819. This year, they’ve got a fantastic year-round programming of professional drama, music and dance and includes shows such as Rapunzel, Legally Blonde, and their renowned Pantomime, the Beauty and the Beast.
