The Christmas Lights Switch-on involves the annual turning on of all the festive lights in the town and incorporates the charity stall night.  Browse stalls, eat seasonal delights and watch in awe as the whole of the town lights up for the Christmas period.

2pm - Penguins arrive in the town centre

3pm - Entertainment begins on stage from local schools and colleges including the following:

3:10pm – Ixworth Free School

3:45pm – Cherry Trees Preparatory Montessori School

3:05pm – West Gate Primary School

4:30pm – Ickworth Park Primary School

4:50pm – Hardwick Middle School

5:10pm – St Louis Middle School

5:45pm – King Edward VI School

6:10pm – West Suffolk College

4pm - Huskies and Reindeer arrive

6.30pm - Santa Clause will be in town with his very special Galleon

7pm - Christmas Lights Switch On

7.05pm - Robbie Williams tribute act on stage

There will also be street entertainers, a magician, and a facepainter in Cornhill Walk Shopping Centre.
