Bury St Edmunds will be celebrating the shops and businesses within the town that are independently run. To tie in with the fact it is also the American Independence day, there will be a Uncle Sam stiltwalker in town who will be joining in on the festivities.  Volunteers will also be giving out 1,000 our bury st edmunds goodie bags to members of the public in town.  Support the independent traders by buying one item from an independent business or the provision market on Independents Day.
