08/07/2019St Nicholas Hospice Accumulator ChallengeGreene & Greene are once again proud to be supporting St Nicholas Hospice by taking part in the 2019 Accumulator Challenge. This year they are moving the event outside, for a team assault course challenge, at the Playground in Barrow (which is just 10 minutes from Bury). This should be a fantastic event, and will be organised so that teams of all abilities can take part and have fun Please see the attached flyer for details of the event. 08/07/2019Friday Food Fayre on 19th JulyThe Council’s markets team are arranging a one off Friday Food Fest event in the Cornhill on Friday 19th July. In order to maximise this opportunity the event will cover lunch and dinner, so will run from noon until 9pm. I have previously made BID members aware of this event but there is still time (but not that much time!) to book a pitch if you want to be part of this event but the organiser, Sharon Fairweather, needs to know of your interest by end of play on Tuesday (9th July). If you enter and are short listed or even win an award the amount of FREE publicity is considerable. We sponsor the customer service award but there are a number of award categories and I would urge our members to enter these prestigious local awards. The closing date for nominations is Friday 26th July , so basically there’s 3 weeks left (plenty of time!) to get your nomination in!
