World War One Trail
Our Bury St Edmunds has teamed up with My WISH Charity to create a public art trail to commemorate the centenary of the First World War, and to raise money for the Every Hear Matters appeal which is co-ordinated by My WISH Charity at The West Suffolk Hospital. The trail is kindly sponsored by Treatt Plc.
The trail commences on 21st July and will be running all the way until 11th November. The trail is made up of 18 separate pieces of art all created by local artists, some with a special link to the First World War.
All the pieces of art will be available to purchase once the trail has ended in November, which will go towards the Every Heart Matters appeal. To find out more about My WISH Charity and the appeal, please click here
Finding all the pieces of art will enable people to enter a draw to win a variety of vouchers to be spent in the Bury St Edmunds town centre.
Trail leaflets are available in exchange for a small donation at all the Tourist Information Points in the town centre.
To find out more about the works of art and the artists who created them, please visit the dedicated WW1 Trail website here.
