The beautiful Abbey Gardens is the perfect place for a summer stroll, with pristine lawns, fantastically colourful flower beds, kids’ play areas and even an aviary!

The gardens are free for all to enjoy a summer’s day overlooked by the spectacular St Edmundsbury Cathedral.

One of the most glorious things about summer in Suffolk is the absolutely delicious seasonal local produce that’s fresh, colourful and full of flavour! You can find it all at Bury St Edmunds Market.

The Market takes place twice a week and features 70-90 stalls through the Cornhill and Buttermarket areas.

Whitsun Fayre

The Whitsun Fayre is the first of the fantastic festivals organised by Our Bury St Edmunds. This fayre is a celebration of everything Suffolk with local farmers markets, street entertainment and much more.

The Whitsun Fayre is a completely free family event and takes place on 27th & 28th May.
