Food & Drink Festival Expert Profile: 1921

Posted on Wednesday, 16th August, 2017

Zack Deakins from fine dining restaurant, 1921, will be taking to the stage in the Stoves Cookery Theatre at the Bury St Edmunds Food & Drink Festival on Sunday 27th August at 2pm to showcase some of his classic dishes. Here’s a little bit more about 1921

1921 is located on the historic and picturesque Angel Hill in Bury St Edmunds and offers a fine dining experience like no other. The restaurant takes an unconventional approach with relaxed service and the food reigning supreme.

There is a big focus on local produce at 1921 with their delicious selection of canapes, expertly crafted starters, mouthwatering mains and perfectly British puddings.

Enjoy anything from Ardleigh asparagus, to lamb from the Denham Estate, to Bury’s very own Butterworth’s coffee.

And they must be doing something right, recently being crowned Best Restaurant in Suffolk at the 2017 Suffolk Food & Drink Awards.
