Bury St Edmunds Food and Drink Festival
Sunday 28th August - Monday 29th August

Don’t miss this celebration of everything edible as the food and drink festival takes over the town.

From cookery demonstrations to farmers’ markets to Punch and Judy shows, there really is something for everyone!

Make your way into the town centre on Sunday 28th and Monday 29th August and it will be impossible to miss this fantastic event.

Songbook Sundays
The Apex Lounge

Featuring the Chris Ingham Trio with special guest singers from the world of jazz. This Saturday features Sarah Moule, one of Britain’s great interpreters.

Her last album 'Songs From The Floating World' received five-star reviews and firmly established her, according to LondonJazz, in the "top flight of UK singers".

Here be Dragons
The Apex
Sunday 28th August

Here be Dragons is a lecture by international embroidery artist, Helen M. Stevens, followed by an informal Q&A.

With reference to her research for the British Museum, The York Archaeological Trust and Glastonbury Abbey, Helen will present a visual explosion of colour, texture and design explaining the origins of English narrative embroidery from 7th-11th centuries and how it has influenced her contemporary work.

Lark and Linnet Trail
The Lark and Linnet Trail follows the two rivers and takes you around the town through a thousand years of history. Each bollard gives a snapshot of the history of the town and follows a water theme as well as showing pictures of the local flora and fauna.
