With the summer holidays in full swing, you may be searching for the top things to do in Bury St Edmunds this Bank Holiday weekend. Well, look no further as Bury St Edmunds will be a hive of activity as the renowned Food and Drink Festival returns to the towns historic streets for the fourth time.
The Aga Rangemaster Theatre Kitchen will be at the centre of activity as two of televisions most renowned chefs, Ed Baines and Galton Blackiston take to the stage for a fantastic selection of cooking demonstrations. They will be sharing their favourite seasonal cooking tips for all to try, which is likely to be inspired by their Michelin Star restaurants.
As well as the renowned chefs, a number of your favourite Bury St Edmunds eateries will be taking to the stage to share their recipes and offer a local touch. They include Casa Del Mar, Rose of Bengal, Pea Porridge, Palmers Coffee Shop, Paddy and Scott’s, Cote Brasserie and Thos. Peatling.
This year’s culinary celebrations will take over the rest of the town with street entertainment, the renowned beach in the arc shopping centre and a local Farmer’s Market in the Buttermarket, selling a great range of local produce to get your taste buds tingling this Bank Holiday weekend.
