The Bushel

There has been a pub, or an inn, in the same spot in St John Street since the 15th century. In fact a part of the original flint wall is still on show in the dining area providing a visible part of history as you dine.
As the large number of regulars demonstrate, The Bushel is a popular pub in the neighbourhood. Friendly and atmospheric it's very welcoming to newcomers. There is a separate dining area, with full table service in an attractive setting with white walls and natural light coming through the glass ceiling, they serve good and honest pub grub that really does hit the spot.
