Led by Felixstowe based acoustic bass player Rob Palmer, Trio East are an uncompromising saxophone/bass/drums funky jazz trio with energy and intensity. Featuring Russ Morgan, also from Felixstowe, on drums, the rhythm section offers a breadth of textures that belies the absence of the usual piano, offering the kind of freedom and flexibility that most saxophonists dream of.
