Phone app downloads rise...

Since the 'our bury st edmunds' app was launched on 9th December last year the total number of downloads since then has been 2883. During the first week our app was in the top 75 downloaded in the UK! In the last month we have seen 707 downloads, so its popularity is far from waning!

The app allows people to download offers from businesses in the town, locate a specific retailer or type of business and, for those not familiar with Bury St Edmunds, find their way around the historic medieval town centre or 21st century arc shopping centre.  It was created for Bid4Bury member businesses to enable the small independent retailers to compete on the same level locally as national brands.  Its continuing aim is to help stimulate the market and drive businesses forward.
