Macmillan Coffee Morning

The World’s Biggest Coffee morning is a fundraising event organised by Macmillan Cancer Support. The idea is to bring people together in the fight against cancer. All across the UK people host their own coffee mornings and all donations on the day go to the charity.

Jacobs Allen Accumulator Challenge

The Jacobs Allen Accumulator Challenge is an annual fundraising event in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care. Businesses across west Suffolk are pitted against each other to turn £50 into as much money as possible and be crowned corporate champion.

There are a number of events taking place this month which you can take part in and do your bit for this very worthy cause:

Hyde Chambers Funeral Services Charity Quiz
September 28, 2017 - 7pm
Greene King PLC, Bury St Edmunds

Teams of up to 6 people, for a donation of £15 per team. A buffet and raffle will also be available. To book a place, please call Audrey or Tracy on 01284 769200.

Box-It East Charity Quiz
September 21, 2017 - 7pm for 7.30 start
Oakes Barn, Saint Andrew's Street South, Bury St Edmunds

Green Duck Charity Golf Day
September 15, 2017 - 10.30am
Bury St Edmunds Golf Club, Tut Hill, Fornham All Saints

As part of the Accumulator Challenge last year’s winners Green Duck are offering up to ten teams (of four balls) the opportunity to test their skills against other local businesses in the area. £55 per head or £200 per team of four.

Jeans for Genes Day

Jeans for Genes Day is taking place on Friday 22nd September where once again people will be encouraged to wear jeans to raise funds for children with genetic disorders.

Charitable events will be taking place across Bury St Edmunds however, one keen participant is Javelin, so keep an eye on their Facebook page for more info!
